Murrine, cane, forged steel, Jarrah

The cellular structure of the leaf in Leaf on Branch is represented by the arrangement of hand pulled murrine and a central cane fused together in a kiln. Individually cast inclusions are incorporated. The forged steel support was commissioned from a local blacksmith (Caine Scott) and is attached to a live edge, finished Jarrah base.
